TC Health Care is centered on providing universal coverage to all citizens. This specific type of health care is provided and financed by the government through tax payments from the citizens. The government is the sole payer of this system, which is why residents will not receive a doctor bill at any time. This is due to the government having the sole control over what doctors can do and what they can charge. With TC, health care is tax-based versus insurance based, which improves the health of residents as it makes them more inclined to participate in preventive care programs.
